Helen contacted me in March 2019 as she had to make the difficult decision to put down her beautiful dog Amber who was suffering from Thyroid Cancer.
She wanted to immortalize Amber’s memory with a piece of jewellery made using wood collected from Amber’s favourite walk in the Pig’s Bush Enclosure, Brockenhurst.
Helen collected some beautiful pieces of tree bark and twigs from Brockenhurst, which I then took small sections of for casting. Helen particularly liked the ends of the twigs, so we made this the focal point of her ring, casting it in 18ct Gold.
“I love my ring! It is just the perfect way to remember Amber.”
